Antique towel warmer cuivre rouge

Antique cupboard where towels were once heated. The whole hung on the wall and under the cabinet ran a gas pipe where a flame could be opened to warm towels.

A very rare object that we rarely encounter.

The whole can no longer be used as such, but it is a beautiful small cabinet to hang as storage space in the bathroom or toilet.

Made of red copper and fitted with a porcelain doorknob.

To get it functional again as a towel warmer, a creative solution is needed.
