Antique Wall Fountain Sculptee
This charming antique wall fountain, model Sculptee, dates from the early twentieth century. It features a tall backplate and a beautifully scalloped bowl, designed for a single wall-mounted tap.
What makes this piece especially rare are the two integrated soap dishes on either side. On most surviving examples these are broken, but here both are still intact. One dish shows some glaze craquelure, yet remains fully complete and includes the original drainage hole to allow water to run off.
A wonderful and rare basin, perfect for a hallway or toilet. The condition of this antique wall fountain is very good: no cracks or deep hairlines, only natural age-related craquelure in the glaze, which enhances its authenticity and character.
Measurements: approx. 51 cm high x 41 cm wide (incl. soap dishes) x 27 cm deep
