Review Antique Wash basin Porcher Poste d'Eau

Antique Wash basin Porcher Poste d'Eau

Antique washbasin with a high back made by the Porcher company around 1900, intended for two separate taps for hot and cold water. Beautiful antique washbasin for an old-fashioned style toilet.

Antique washbasin with a high back and beautifully stylized frame and beautifully designed bowl. The brand of the factory that made the antique washbasin around 1900, the French firm Porcher, can be read on the front of the bowl. This antique fountain is special because we usually see them made with only one opening in the wall plate for 1 tap. This model has two openings and was therefore once intended for two taps, 1 for hot water and 1 for cold water.

The washbasin is in good condition with some light crackle here and there in the glaze that does not hinder normal use, which even adds to the charm of this beautiful antique washbasin.

It could be a real eye-catcher in a toilet or hallway.

Dimensions approx.: 34 cm wide x 29 cm deep from the wall x 59 cm high.
