Antique Washbasin Poste d’Eau Petite
A refined and rare antique French “Poste d’Eau” Petite washbasin, manufactured circa 1900. This model is smaller than most high-backed basins of its kind, making it particularly suitable for compact cloakrooms or as a subtle historical statement in a characterful bathroom.
Origin & Character
Around the turn of the 20th century, these so-called poste d’eau basins were commonly installed in French townhouses and service areas. They combine practicality with elegant vertical proportions.

Material & Condition
The ceramic body is in very good condition. The glaze shows signs of age with light crazing in places, adding authenticity and depth to its appearance.
The colour is not stark white but a soft off-white, typical of antique sanitary ware from around 1900.
