Porcelain wall light Londra – Art Deco style
This graceful porcelain wall light Londra is a faithful reproduction of an original 1920s design, featuring the crisp, geometric lines so typical of the Art Deco style. Porcelain was a favourite material for bathroom lighting at the time: being non-conductive, it offered a safer option in an era when electrical wiring wasn't yet routed inside the walls. That practical origin still shows in the lamp's sturdy, timeless shape.
The square shade is made of opaline glass, also known as milk glass, casting a soft, diffused light. The lamp takes a standard E27 fitting and mounts easily to the wall. Supplied in brand-new condition, it settles effortlessly into a classic bathroom, hallway, or bedroom today.
In the same series a toilet roll holder, a spare roll holder and a hook are available.
