Vintage mirrored coiffeuse in Hollywood Regency style — 1950s
A vintage mirrored coiffeuse from the 1950s in Hollywood Regency style — a glamorous little piece in which every surface, right down to the gracefully curved cabriole legs, is faced with mirror glass. The softly speckled, gently aged mirror panels give it the tender antiqued sheen that is so characteristic of French Mid-Century glass furniture.
The central top panel lifts to reveal a handy storage well and an upright fold-up vanity mirror — ready for perfumes, powder or jewellery. Three drawers run along the front for smaller items. The piece works beautifully as a dressing table in a bedroom or walk-in wardrobe, but is equally at home as a tasteful console in a hallway or bathroom. A charming decorative piece that brings light into a room without filling it.
